Who we are

A multi-project renewable-energy development, investment, operations and trading company.

TEFSD — Tose'e Energy Fajr Saadat Developments — is a renewable-energy project development, investment and operations platform. The “D” stands for Developments: we originate, structure and build energy assets, and we are organised to carry many projects, not one.

Jannat Rudbar is our current flagship project. The company, its capabilities and this website are structured to support further projects across different regions, technologies and development stages.

Floating photovoltaics

What is a floating solar power plant?

In a floating solar power plant, photovoltaic panels are mounted on floats and supporting structures on the surface of the water. A mooring and anchoring system holds the arrays in place and must accommodate changes in water level and wind forces. The electricity generated is carried through electrical and protection equipment to the inverters and prepared for delivery to the grid.

Planning basis

Planned capacity and area

Initial basis: 1.5 hectares per megawatt; for 20 MW, approximately 30 hectares (7.5 hectares for each 5 MW phase). These figures are an initial basis for study; the final area will be determined after surveying, assessment of the ab-bandan, buffer zones and environmental considerations.

Four-phase programme

Phases 1 to 4, each 5 MW and approximately 7.5 hectares; in total 20 MW and 30 hectares. The definitive boundaries and schedule will be announced once studies and permits are complete.

Phase 15 MW≈ 7.5 ha
Phase 25 MW≈ 7.5 ha
Phase 35 MW≈ 7.5 ha
Phase 45 MW≈ 7.5 ha
Total20 MW≈ 30 ha

Planned figures — not an approved capacity, allocated land or a built plant.

Design & environment

Design and environmental considerations

Water depth and level fluctuations, the bed and banks, wind load, the stability of the floats and mooring, equipment durability, electrical safety, access for maintenance, and the existing uses of the ab-bandan are taken into account. The possible effect of reduced evaporation and the consequences of covering the water surface must be examined in dedicated studies.
